I was focused on my busy life, (at that time I was working a demanding job requiring travel, while raising 3 children as a single parent) and I was very focused on staying in shape, getting healthy, and keeping my weight down.

And then, through a series of odd events (and some arm twisting), I attended a workshop. One morning... a few hours... on a precious weekend no less!

I learned things about the body I didn't know. Physically, I had a completely new experience. It was eye opening and transformative.

You see I was a go-go-go person. I didn't know another way. But now I do.

Outline of the Workshop

1) Inversions (Manage Stress, Improve Immune Function, Soothe Joints & Strengthen Core Muscles)

2) Low Back Health (Pretty self-explanatory!)

3) Persistent Pain (IBS, Back Pain, Arthritis, Headaches, Neck Pain…more)

4) Nervous System Resilience and Brain Function (Nervous system resilience is being able to bounce back & forth between stress and relaxation with ease - not getting stuck in stress. Brain Function...don't we all need to keep our brains firing, connected and healthy?)

We will learn and practice 4 different yoga sequences covering each of these topics and you receive a PDF of each practice to keep, plus 1-year access to the videos of each practice for you to use as many times as you want!

And now...This Week in Yoga!

This weekend (9.17), I will be attending a yoga retreat in the beautiful Catskill Mountains in Phoenicia, NY.

I will be participating with people from all over the country and learning from an internationally renown master yoga teacher, Colleen Saidman Yee, who has been called The First Lady of Yoga 😁

I plan on coming back with all kinds of terrific ideas, techniques, and practices to share with all of you!

There will not be CommUNITY Yoga this Saturday Sept 17th for this reason.

The Subtle®Yoga Workshop (mentioned above) will be on Saturday Sept 24th so there will not be CommUNITY Yoga on 9.24.

I would love it, if you could see your way to joining us on the 24th for the workshop. Or, you can register and utilize the same benefits of the workshop with the video access and the PDF's.

If that's not possible, there WILL be CommUNITY Yoga on Saturday October 1st!

I will be teaching that class from the cottages at our Fall Yoga Retreat at our regular time of 9:30am CT
