I recently read the book Breath by James Nestor. I was mesmerized by his story and what his research revealed. I have been recommending his book over and over, including to members of my family. My husband has been diagnosed with "moderate" sleep apnea and now uses a CPAP machine. One of my daughters has been a mouth breather all of her life.

I have changed the way I breathe now and have become inquisitive on how I can change my breath and what effect that has on my physical, mental and emotional self. I've also explored ways that changing my breathing can aid me in going to sleep at night and back to sleep after those 2-4 am wake up sessions. It's truly been remarkable.

I know not everyone has the time or the inclination to read his entire book so that's why I'm sharing this podcast with you! Think of it as the cliff notes 😉

I hope you enjoy what you hear.
