The "Process" of Yoga

All Yoga involves balance, a stimulator, or rest for the nervous system. Engaging your mind with your body, doing yoga 1-2 times per week helps to maintain this neurological connection.

Practicing yoga more than that will expand the benefits to more parts of your body as different parts of your body end up coming up for “review” so to speak, and resolving its issues over time.

Sometimes, in the consistent practice of yoga, you will feel discomfort. This is not necessarily a sign that you are doing anything wrong. It just might be that you are opening up a part of the body that has been held tightly closed due to inactivity or fear, stress, etc. and the openings brought about by your practice is allowing your body to let it go.
