Manifesting

manifesting
life goals
creating your life

There has been so much talk about "manifesting". What is it anyway? Here are a few definitions to get you started:

  • Manifesting is intentionally creating what you want.
  • Essentially, manifestation is bringing something tangible into your life through attraction and belief.
  • Manifesting,” or the practice of thinking aspirational thoughts with the purpose of making them real.
  • Whether as a verb, an adjective, or even a noun, manifest shows the nature of something with clarity beyond dispute.

I have my own examples of how I envisioned something, breathed every bit of my belief that I could make it happen into it, and then set about the work of making it happen. I didn't place the word "manifesting" on it but it seems as if that's what took place.

It doesn't really matter the descriptor you use to make your life goals happen, what's important is that you know that it's possible to creating the life that YOU imagine for yourself. You can read a myriad of articles about other's ideas, but I will share with you my steps:

  1. Create your goal.
  2. Define why you want to achieve this goal. Be specific.
  3. Close your eyes and imagine yourself achieving this goal. See it. Feel how you will feel when you achieve it. Imprint that visual in your mind and that feeling of achieving it in your heart. See if you kind find a photo or picture that represents achieving this goal. Keep it in front of you at all times.
  4. Open your eyes and create a timeline when you want to arrive at your achievement. Write your end date under that picture or photo.
  5. Figure out what you need to do to make this happen. Define the steps necessary.
  6. Work your way back from your achievement date and place the above necessary steps in your timeline.
  7. Figure out what you need to do (this is the work necessary) to achieve each step. If you need to adjust the end achievement date this is the time to do that. This is now your plan.
  8. Now, what's left, is to work your plan! Push any naysayers aside and do not allow their negative advice into your psyche (and there will be naysayers!) Focus on achieving just the very next step in your timeline. Once that has been achieved, focus only on the very next step and so on.

Remember to revisit your visual of your achievement and your heartfelt feeling of when you do- often! Then go back to your plan and work it. I love what Eckhart Tolle says above. I hadn't thought about the idea of needing to let go of things before, but he is so right. You do need to let go of some things so you can achieve and bring into your life the things you declare are most important to you. The energy that you create around yourself when you believe without a shadow of a doubt you can do this, combined with your willingness to do the work, will unlock opportunities you may never have expected and you will find yourself operating in an almost magical existence. The one where anything is possible.
